Kry has secured over $160m in funding as it continues to boost access to healthcare for millions of patients.
The fundraising round was from a combination of new and existing partners, including Teachers’ Venture Growth (TVG, part of the C$242 billion Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan) and P Capital Partners. Current investors Index Ventures, Accel, Creandum and Project A also participated.
Working in partnership with healthcare professionals, governments and partners across Europe, Kry improves patient access to both primary and specialist care via its technology and physical care centers.
The funding will support Kry’s strategy to embed digital into the backbone of healthcare systems in Europe and improve care for millions of patients.
Kry’s purpose is to ensure that patients receive the right care from the right specialist, faster. Kry’s products and tools reduce the burden on healthcare professionals and improve population health through more efficient and sustainable healthcare services. In recent months Kry has expanded into further care segments via its mental health offering, and will extend into chronic disease, including diabetes and asthma. It is also deepening its women’s health specialism, with further training for clinicians and a content hub to better connect patients with the right advice and guidance.
With more than 3,000 clinicians employed by Kry, over 6,000 using its platforms and tools, and having delivered over 7 million patient appointments, Kry’s digital healthcare empowers patients to access primary care at scale. Kry continued to grow rapidly with over 100% year-on-year growth in 2020 and 2021 through its partnerships supporting patients and healthcare systems across Europe.
