Innovative Health has announced a partnership with NotiSphere which will see the latter provide Innovative Health’s hospital customers with a streamlined communication platform for managing device recalls, design changes, and other events that could disrupt the supply of reprocessed devices.

Specialising in cardiology-focused single-use device reprocessing programs, Innovative Health has received US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearances for cardiology devices considered non-reprocessable. Despite reducing CO2 emissions from this program, it still has issues with the supply chain of reprocessed devices from manufacturer design changes and product recalls.

NotiSphere’s solution to this issue is software that facilitates a link between medical device suppliers, and healthcare organisations, helping to streamline real-time management of device recalls and market events.

Guillermo Ramas, CEO at NotiSphere said: “Innovative Health and other circular suppliers in healthcare are uniquely vulnerable to recalls and other external events that restrict the company’s ability to collect and return reprocessed products to their partner hospitals.”

By leveraging NotiSphere’s platform, Innovative Health can continue to ensure hospitals provide patients with cardiology procedures without disruptions caused by supply chain issues.

Rick Ferreira, CEO at Innovative Health added: “Our customers don’t want to log into hundreds of platforms to see their supply situation. The NotiSphere platform enables efficient dissemination of critical supply information from all their suppliers. At the same time, our hospital customers need to know market events that impact reprocessed product supplies, as they depend on the savings they provide.”
