South Korean dental 3D scanners and digital dentistry solutions provider Medit has globally launched the Medit i900 intraoral scanner, designed to enhance dental scanning processes.
With new features such as touch band and touchpad functionality, the Medit i900 intraoral scanner is set to transform dental practices with its button-free operation.

It can facilitate control from any angle, making it suitable for various hand sizes and ensuring a more comfortable experience for both practitioners and patients.

The scanner also offers advanced features which are tailored to streamline workflows and optimise patient care.
Weighing 165g, the i900 boasts a featherlight design and comes with three different tip sizes to accommodate various scanning needs.
Its improved ergonomics allow dental professionals to maintain absolute control while scanning from any position, ensuring precision and comfort.
The device is equipped with a third-generation Optical Engine, which includes a ten-bit camera capable of delivering a wider and deeper field of view.
It is claimed to improve not only accuracy but also provide sharper details and smoother scan data.
The scanner is adept at capturing challenging conditions, such as highly reflective metal or bleeding soft tissue, without compromising on quality.
Additional features of the Medit i900 include real-time haptic and light feedback, which allows users to navigate effortlessly with the 360° Touch Band.
The interactive touchpad and touch menu enable the customisation of commands, further enhancing the user experience.
