Voom Medical Devices will unveil the new single-use sterile Revcon™ Screw System at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) annual meeting in Phoenix, AZ from March 26-29, 2025. The commercial launch of the system is slated for May 2025 and will include the highly anticipated debut of the MIBS CoPilot shift + targeting guide.

Minimally invasive bunion surgery (MIBS) is rapidly becoming the procedure of choice for a growing number of surgeons. Voom initially disrupted the bunion market in May 2023 with the introduction of the groundbreaking Bunionplasty® 360 Repair Procedure™, featuring the industry’s first and only single-screw solution—the Revcon™ Anchor. The enhanced Revcon Screw System and integrated MIBS CoPilot™ will arrive on the market marking the second anniversary of this pioneering procedure.

The MIBS CoPilot™ has been meticulously engineered to optimize anatomical positioning and wire placement, significantly reducing complexity and intrusion compared to existing competitive technologies. Dr. Neal Blitz, DPM, Founder and CEO of Voom Medical Devices, highlighted the clinical significance, stating, “The MIBS CoPilot™ represents a significant leap forward in precision and simplicity for minimally invasive bunion surgery. By empowering surgeons with intuitive control and accurate targeting, this tool enhances surgical efficiency and patient outcomes. Surgeons who experience the MIBS CoPilot™ will quickly recognize its transformative value and won’t want to perform another bunion procedure without it.”

Dustin Campbell, Chief Commercialization Officer, further emphasized the benefits of the new system: “This latest innovation builds upon our already superior MIBS offering, driving greater procedural efficiency and adds some exciting new tools enabling surgeons to consistently achieve reproducible outcomes for their patients. We’re incredibly excited to offer these enhancements to both existing and future surgeons adopting the Bunionplasty® 360 Bunion Repair™. We extend our sincere gratitude to our partner on this project, ECA Medical, for their invaluable collaboration and expertise in developing world-class, single-use sterile solutions.”
