MVR TouchPro includes a full-patient workflow along with a DICOM Made Easy and 4K Ultra HD upgrade option.

MediCapture has launched the new MVR TouchPro, which includes a new medical-grade, ten-inch, multi-touch MTS101 monitor and an MVR medical video recording system.

The new device provides direct network and WiFi connections to the picture archiving and communication system (PACS) and can control surgical sessions from anywhere in the operation room (OR) using the MTS101 multi-touch monitor.

The new patent pending USB-powered MTS101 monitor includes a plug-and-play setup and has easy VESA Mount capability, which allows it to be placed in any location in the OR.

With the ten-inch user interface, staff will be able to enter data related to the patient, zoom in, edit videos and develop reports.

The MVR TouchPro also features a full-patient workflow, along with a DICOM Made Easy upgrade option, which is used for easy and quick patient information retrieval and transfer of studies to PACS.

Additionally, it includes a 4K Ultra HD upgrade option for recording delicate surgeries in detail.

The company stated that these upgrades can be instantly used with an activation code when ready to add on.

MediCapture product manager Bernd Jotzat said: “The MVR TouchPro with the MTS101 is a complete package for hospitals that require advanced medical video recording systems that are easy to set up and simple to use.

“Surgical teams can position the monitor anywhere in the OR and handle powerful workflow capability with a swipe of the finger, just like a smartphone.”

The company noted that the multi-touch MTS101 monitor available with the MVR TouchPro can also be bought alone for use with any other MediCapture MVR medical imaging system.

The monitor is available to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for endoscopy as well as other surgical video equipment.

MediCapture president and CEO Mike Bishop said: “With the increasing need to manage and share video content in the surgical market, MediCapture is also working on several storage and peripheral products that will enhance its MVR systems portfolio.”
