The product can be customised using the Bluetooth-connected Hyperice App.

Hyperice has launched the latest product in its Normatec series, offering dynamic air compression and restorative massage in a new and accessible design.

The Normatec 3 by Hyperice uses dynamic air compression to help decrease recovery times, maximise performance and improve training.

With an intuitive interface and refreshed system design, the weight of Normatec 3 has been reduced by 11% while the battery life has been increased by 50%, now lasting up to three hours.

The company stated that the device can be customised using the Bluetooth-connected Hyperice App.

Normatec 3 is currently available for the legs, lower body (legs and hips) or full body (legs, hips and arms). It is also compatible with previous attachment generations.

Hyperice CEO Jim Huether said: “Our mission at Hyperice is to help everyone on earth move better, and with Normatec 3, we’ve made the most innovative technology on the market more accessible to more people than ever before.

“We’ve sacrificed nothing in terms of the science, benefits and quality that Normatec has become known for, and this launch only further cements our mission and our position as the leader in this space.”

The company stated that the patented precision pulse technology of Normatec helps to increase circulation, reduce swelling and revive muscles.

During scientific studies of Normatec usage, decreased muscle fatigue and pain sensitivity after exercise, as well as an increased motion range, were observed.

Normatec 3 is now available at major retailers in the US, and a global roll-out to select markets is planned for this summer.

Initially, Normatec was developed to help people undergoing breast cancer treatment that were suffering from lymphedema.
