Ophthalmic imaging company Heidelberg Engineering has secured US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for its ANTERION platform.
ANTERION is an all-in-one upgradeable platform to transform anterior segment diagnostics and streamline practice workflow.
It combines IOL power calculation, biometry with corneal topography and tomography, high-resolution imaging and anterior chamber metrics for a day-to-day clinical routine.

With its additional features, such as patented eye tracking and composite imaging technologies, the platform will help deliver high image quality and allow eyecare professionals to perform anterior segment examinations.
It also allows professionals to acquire key measurements through high-resolution swept-source OCT images to support clinical decision-making.
