BeCareLink has introduced a new quantitative and artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled app to support general neurologic exams for the screening and monitoring of neurologic diseases.

Called BeCare Neuro Link, the new mobile application is intended for the remote, objective and comprehensive assessment of neurologic patients or those with potential neurologic conditions.

It can be used for screening as-of-yet-undiagnosed neurologic conditions as well as monitoring the response to treatment for known neurologic disorders.

The objective measurements are generated from activities on a mobile phone and these results are communicated to the user through written reports to assess the presence of any neurological issues that may need attention.

The game-like activities are created to mimic the tests conducted in a neurologist’s clinic.

BeCareLink chief medical officer and co-founder Dr Charisse Litchman said: “Our mission is to help people who suspect they may have a neurologic disorder or have already been diagnosed with one become their own health advocates and to supply clinicians with the tools needed to treat patients more efficiently and effectively.
